Simply by going to Tuteme.com, then click on become a tutor link, and finally click on "Sign up" in the top right corner, fill in your information, and choose the “tutor” role.

We transfer session fees for you automatically using Payoneer when having $300 or above in your balance. If you want to get paid before this, you can either change the minimum balance for auto transfer in “Payment Settings” or claim your payment manually by clicking on the "Get Paid" button in your dashboard or in “Transactions” page.

Payoneer will charge you $3 for each transfer. This amount will be deducted from the total amount sent to you. Also please note that charges may apply from your local bank for currency exchange.

You can do that in “My Specialties” by adding a specialty, and passing the necessary screening exam for it.

Yes, by clicking on the “Cancel session request” button in the "Sessions Requests" section of your dashboard page.

If the session cancellation was done within 48 hours of your session, the penalty percentage is 25%. If the session cancellation is done within 24 hours of your session, the penalty percentage is 50%.

If the session cancellation is done within 48 hours, your punctuality rating will be 5. If the session cancellation was done within 24 hours, your punctuality rating will be reduced to 1.

Click on the "Join Session" button on your dashboard.

If you fail to attend a lesson without giving prior notice to your student, then we penalize you by giving you 0 on your punctuality rating, which will affect your overall average rating. Please note that you won’t be penalized if you cancel the session more than 48 hours from the session time.

You should wait for 10 minutes for the student to join a session. If the student doesn’t join within 10 minutes, then we automatically consider the session as cancelled by the student and you will receive 50% of the payment excluding our administration fees.

Currently we have tutors qualified for British, IB and SAT Curriculums from Grades 6-12.

When you manually cancel an upcoming confirmed session by clicking the "Cancel Session" button on your dashboard. Further, your session will be automatically cancelled if you fail to attend the session within 10 minutes of the scheduled session time.

You have to complete your profile in "Edit Profile", create a Payoneer account in "Payment settings", add a teaching specialty in "My Specialties", and finally set your availability for teaching hours in "My Availability".

You will be eligible to collect your payment after the session completes, and if there was no misconduct behavior reported during the session.

Tutors are requested to create their availability schedule by adding available times though “My Availability”.

No, you can choose whether you want to apply for the exam at the same time of adding the specialty or later once you’re ready for it. You can find the pending exams in "My Specialties”  “Pending exams".

None. There is no penalty applied when cancelling a session request.

Tutors receive $30 for each one-hour lesson for Juniors, and $40 for each one-hour lesson for Seniors.

We will deduct a penalty amount of $10 for Senior & Junior level students, then refund the remaining amount to the student’s credit card. As for the tutor, we’ll penalize you by giving you 0 on your punctuality rating, which will affect your overall average rating.

Your punctuality rating is calculated automatically based on your commitment to being on time. All tutors start with a 0 rating.

You get a rating based on how many minutes late you are to your session. If you’re ready when the session starts, or you attend the session within 2 minutes of the scheduled session time, your rating is 10. If you attend the session within 4 minutes of the scheduled session time, your rating is 9. If you attend the session within 5 minutes of the scheduled session time, your rating is 8. If you attend the session within 6 minutes of the scheduled session time, your rating is 7. If you attend the session within 7 minutes of the scheduled session time, your rating is 6. If you attend the session within 8 minutes of the scheduled session time, your rating is 5. If you attend the session within 9 minutes of the scheduled session time, your rating is 4. If you attend the session within 10 minutes of the scheduled session time, your rating is 3. If you attend the session any time after ten minutes, your rating is 0.
