Simply go to Tuteme.com, click on "sign up" in the top right corner, fill in your information, and select the “student” role.

Using the subjects search field on your dashboard, clicking on "Find a Tutor" from the top menu, or you can choose from the tutors suggested by Tuteme on your dashboard. These tutors have been selected just for you, based on your profile.

You have to complete your profile in "Edit Profile" and add your credit card details by going to "Credit Card" page, before attempting to reserve a session.

You must complete your registration first. Then you can find a tutor, review their profile, and click on the “Reserve” button to select an available day and time, along with the desired subject you want to learn about. Finally, review the session's details and confirm your reservation request. Your session will be confirmed and the session's fee will be deducted from your credit card after the tutor accepts your session's request.

We deduct session's fee securely from your previously added credit card only after the tutor accepts your session request.

Yes. Click on the “Cancel session” button in the "Upcoming Sessions" section of your dashboard page.

You can take a live lesson and ask questions through an interactive whiteboard with your favourite tutor, and you can record the lesson and play it again when you want to review the lesson.

If you fail to attend a lesson without giving prior notice to your reserved tutor, a 100% penalty fee will be transferred to the tutor account to make up for their wasted time. You can avoid penalties if you cancel the lesson before 48 hours of the time scheduled.

You should wait for 10 minutes for the tutor to join a session. If the tutor doesn’t join within 10 minutes, then we automatically consider the session as cancelled by the tutor and you will receive a full refund. To penalize the tutor in such cases, we will re-evaluate their punctuality rating.

You can rate the tutor and provide reviews on their tutoring style and professionalism. If you weren’t satisfied with them, we recommend finding a new tutor with better ratings for your next lesson. Further, you can report a tutor and provide feedback on your session to the Tuteme team so that we can address any concerns you may have.

Currently we have tutors qualified for British, IB and SAT Curriculums from Grades 6-12.

You can report any misconduct in behaviour, during any session, by clicking on the "Report Tutor" link in "Session History” page for successful sessions.

You can share your rating with other students by clicking on the "Submit a review” button in "Leave your feedback” section from your dashboard.

When you manually cancel an upcoming confirmed session by clicking the "Cancel Session" button on your dashboard. Further, your session will be automatically cancelled if you fail to attend the session within 10 minutes of the scheduled session time.

When the tutor manually cancels an upcoming confirmed session, or when the tutor fails to attend the session within 10 minutes of the scheduled session time.

While viewing a tutor's profile, click on the “Reserve” button to select an available day and time, along with the desired subject you want to learn about. Then in the next step enter your promo code in the promo code field and click on “Apply”. Finally, review your session details and confirm the session.

None. There is no penalty applied when cancelling a sent session request.

If the session cancellation was done within 48 hours of your session, the penalty percentage is 25%. If the session cancellation is done within 24 hours of your session, the penalty percentage is 50%.

Our lessons cost for $40 for a one-hour lesson for Juniors, and $50 for a one-hour lesson for Seniors.

We will deduct a penalty amount of $10 for Senior levels and Junior levels, then refund the remaining amount to your credit card.

Your tutor’s punctuality rating is calculated automatically based on their time commitment, and whether they show up to lessons on time. All tutors start with a 0 rating.
